Refund Policy

This page outlines the refund policy for events and classes registered through M Latin Hub Lite.

1. Platform Role

M Latin Hub Lite is a platform that provides event and class information and intermediates registration. Actual payments are made directly with each event host, and refunds are also subject to the host's policy. The platform does not provide payment processing services.

2. Registration Cancellation

  • Registrations can be cancelled directly on the platform before the event starts.
  • Cancellation may be restricted after the registration deadline has passed.
  • The host will be automatically notified when a cancellation is made.
  • Separately from platform cancellation, refunds for payments already made must be requested directly from the host.

3. Paid Event Refunds

  • Refunds for paid events are subject to each host's refund policy.
  • Please contact the event host directly for refund requests.
  • Host contact information can be found on the event detail page.
  • Hosts are encouraged to specify their refund policy when creating events.

4. Host Event Cancellation

  • If the host cancels an event, the host is obligated to process full refunds for registrants.
  • Refund conditions for cancellations due to force majeure are subject to the host's policy.
  • Cancellation notifications will be sent to registrants through the platform.

5. Class (Regular Lesson) Refund Standards

  • Refunds for regular classes follow the 'Act on the Establishment and Operation of Private Teaching Institutes and Extracurricular Lessons'.
  • Before class starts: Full refund
  • Before 1/3 of total class period: 2/3 of tuition refunded
  • Before 1/2 of total class period: 1/2 of tuition refunded
  • After 1/2 of total class period: No refund

※ The above standards are legal minimums. Hosts may offer more favorable refund terms.

6. Dispute Resolution

Please resolve refund-related disputes directly between the host and participant. The platform has no obligation to mediate disputes, but may provide cooperation such as transaction history verification when necessary. For unresolved cases, you may seek assistance from the Korea Consumer Agency (1372) or the Electronic Commerce Dispute Resolution Committee.
